Privacy Questions Answered

Will you send me marketing messages after I book?
No. Kashmir Car Booking does not send unsolicited marketing messages. After your trip is complete, we may send a single feedback request — and that's it. You will not be added to any broadcast list or mailing list. If you ever receive a message you didn't expect, WhatsApp us and we will address it immediately.
Do you sell my phone number to other companies?
Absolutely not. In 7+ years of operation, Kashmir Car Booking has never sold, rented, or traded any customer data to any third party — and we never will. Your phone number is used only to manage your booking, share driver details, and provide trip support. See Section 4 for the complete list of who can access your data.
Can I book without giving my email address?
Yes. Email is optional. You can book entirely via WhatsApp at +91 80820 22260 or phone call using just your name and phone number. We only ask for an email when you specifically request a written confirmation or invoice to be sent via email.
Does my driver keep my phone number after the trip?
Our policy requires drivers to not use customer contact information for any purpose beyond the assigned trip. While we cannot physically delete a number from a driver's call log, we instruct all drivers that contacting past customers for personal or business purposes is strictly prohibited. If a driver contacts you after your trip for any unauthorized reason, call us at +91 80820 22260 and we will take action.
How do I get my data deleted?
Send a WhatsApp message to +91 80820 22260 saying "Please delete my data" or email info@kashmircarbooking.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will confirm receipt within 7 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. Note: GST invoice records may be retained as required by Indian tax law, even after your other data is deleted.
Is my payment information stored by Kashmir Car Booking?
No. We do not store credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or bank account details. If you pay via UPI or bank transfer, we only retain the transaction reference number for our accounting records. All digital payments are processed through third-party payment gateways that have their own security standards. Cash payments are recorded as received amounts only — no financial instrument data is stored.
Does this policy apply to bookings made through travel agents?
Yes. If you booked through one of our B2B travel agent partners, your data is protected under the same policy. Your travel agent shares your name and travel details with us to fulfil the booking.
