These terms apply to every taxi, car rental and tour booking made with Kashmir Car Booking. Please read them before you pay an advance.

1. Who we are

Kashmir Car Booking is run by Umar Sami Bhat, proprietor, trading as Kashmir Car Booking (a unit of Kashmir Online Store). Registered Excursion Agent JKEA00003597 · GSTIN 01DBGPB6214P1ZU. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Kashmir Car Booking and “you” means the person making the booking and the travellers on it.

2. Quotes and bookings

A quote is a fare for the dates, route and vehicle you asked for. Your booking is confirmed when we receive the 10% advance. Full steps are on the booking and payment policy page.

3. Fares and extra charges

Tours are charged at a flat rate for each tour day, and the driver’s night halt is complimentary. Some costs are paid to third parties and are not part of the quote; we tell you about them separately. The full list is on the fare inclusions and extra charges page.

Fuel, toll and parking are included in the quoted rate. We do not apply an hourly cap to a day. If a plan needs extra distance beyond the quoted route, we tell you the rate before you book.

4. Payment

The balance is settled on the last day, after the service. You receive a receipt, or a tax invoice if you ask for one, on WhatsApp or email. GST at 5% applies only when you ask for a tax invoice.

5. Cancellation, refunds and changes

Cancellations, reschedules and refunds follow the cancellation and refund policy. Trip changes caused by weather or road closures are covered on the weather, road closure and trip changes page.

6. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate names, contact numbers, pickup points and dates.
• Tell us your group size and luggage when you book, so we can assign the right vehicle.
• Be at the pickup point at the agreed time, and reach us if you are delayed.
• Treat the vehicle and the driver with respect and keep within the vehicle’s seating capacity.
• Follow our no-smoking policy; our vehicles are kept clean for every trip.

7. Permits and local rules

Some areas need permits or are restricted by the local administration. Permits for restricted areas are not part of the quote and are told to you separately. The driver follows the instructions of the police and local administration at all times.

8. Safety, weather and force majeure

Mountain roads in Kashmir can close at short notice because of snow, weather or government orders. We may change timings or routes for safety. We are not liable for delays or changes caused by events outside our control, and the options we offer you in that case are set out on the weather and road closure page.

9. Complaints

If something is wrong, tell us as soon as it happens so we can fix it during the trip. Our process is on the customer support and complaints page.

10. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is explained in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. The terms in force when you book are the ones that apply to your booking.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
