Is Uber available in Srinagar, Kashmir?
Uber has official Srinagar (J&K) location pages, so it would be wrong to say it has no listing. A listing does not confirm a driver for your pickup and time. Enter your exact journey in the app.
Uber has official pages for Srinagar North and Srinagar South in Jammu & Kashmir, advertising ride requests and advance ride options. They are not confirmation that a product or driver is available for your hotel, airport pickup or travel time. Check the state as well as the city name, since Srinagar in Uttarakhand does not show service in Kashmir.

Why check the exact Uber product?
A city ride, an advance request and an outstation journey are different products with different conditions. Read what is shown for the one you select.
Uber also has an Intercity page for Srinagar to Tangmarg, describing outstation rides in the app. That shows an advertised route, not a car for your date, and it says nothing about travel beyond Tangmarg. For any booking method, check the final destination, whether stops are included and whether you need a separate return arrangement. An outward drop does not reserve a vehicle for the evening.
What about sightseeing, waiting and return travel?
Write down your stops, the time at each and where the day ends. Then check that the offer’s scope actually covers that plan.
If you are checking an app offer, confirm that its displayed scope covers the plan. If you want a tour vehicle to stay with you, request a quote defining the retained duty, included hours and kilometres, and charges for extra use. Do not assume a pre-booked vehicle is available without limits, and do not assume an app provider cannot offer a suitable rental or outstation product. Inspect what is shown. Does reserving a ride settle every pickup question?
No. A selected pickup time, an accepted booking and assigned driver details are different things. Check which one your confirmation actually states.
Read the in-app terms for your journey, including product-specific cancellation fees, instead of importing conditions from another market or service. For a direct taxi, ask what confirms the booking, when vehicle and driver details are shared and how a substitution is handled.
How do airport pickup and luggage change the choice?
Check them separately. City coverage is not proof of an airport pickup arrangement, and seat count is not proof that bags fit.
For an airport journey, confirm where to meet the driver and what happens if arrival or baggage collection is delayed. Give passenger numbers excluding the driver and describe suitcases, cabin bags and bulky items. If continuity matters, ask whether the same driver and vehicle are committed across the itinerary. Where a return pickup or a particular configuration is essential, confirm it before relying on the plan. This is a planning requirement, not a claim that one service fails more often than another.
